Product Update
Week of May 4, 2026
Lead Capture forms are live, contacts can be linked as partners, deal limits got simpler, and pipeline has search and filters.
A lot landed at once on the CRM side, so I'll group it.
New
- Lead Capture forms: build a hosted form, share it via direct link, and submissions land straight in your PREP contacts. Lives under Lead Capture in the sidebar.
- CSV contact import: upload a CSV, map your columns to PREP fields, review duplicates, and commit. Save a mapping as a template and pick it from a list to reuse on your next import.
- Spouse and partner linking: connect two contacts as partners on each other's records. They stay separate. Turn on Combined View and you see their notes, dates, and activity in one panel. Editing still writes to the right record.
- Co-buyer and co-seller auto-suggest: when you add a Buyer to a deal, if they have a partner linked, PREP suggests adding the partner as Co-Buyer. Same on the listing side for sellers.
- Anniversary field: long-requested. Lives next to birthday on the contact record.
- Workspace identity in CRM: contacts now live in your personal or team workspace, same scoping rules as deals. No more mixing personal and team contacts in the same view.
- Dual-ownership on contacts: two agents can co-own a contact without creating a duplicate record.
- Cancel and Withdraw on deals: close out a deal with the right status instead of leaving it in limbo. Works on transactions, offers, and agreements. The activity timeline tracks the change.
- Pipeline search, filters, and sort: search bar, status filter, sort options, and a compact row toggle on the pipeline page. Scales to a large pipeline without slowing down.
- Seven feature pages:
/features/crm,/features/contact-import,/features/lead-capture,/features/checklists,/features/deal-intake,/features/transaction-management,/features/team-collaboration. Forwardable to teammates who want to understand what PREP does without a walkthrough.
Improved
- Deal limits simplified: STARTER is now one number, 5 active deals total. No more separate caps for transactions, offers, and agreements. AGENT and above are unlimited on deals.
- Non-deal items got their own limits: contacts, properties, and checklists have their own caps separate from the active deal count. A busy week of contact entry no longer burns your deal cap.
- Hit-limit messaging: when you bump a plan limit in a personal workspace and your team workspace has capacity, the modal now suggests switching to the team workspace before pushing you toward an upgrade.
- Notes on assigned contacts: assignees can now edit notes on contacts shared with them. Previously they could only view.
- Contact list default sort: alphabetical by name. Editing a contact no longer reshuffles your list mid-work.
- Custom Fields tab: the contact panel had a tab mislabeled "Organization." Renamed to "Custom Fields," which is what it actually does.
- Preferred Professionals: the "Tagged People" section on a contact got renamed. It's where you link the lender, attorney, inspector, or photographer you prefer for each client.
